Luxurious very private oceanfront hideaway...yet only minutes from the Village of Ganges
At the end of a country lane, surrounded by cedars and arbutus, our one bedroom cottage looks out onto Ganges Harbour and, on a clear day, to the magnificent image of towering Mt. Baker on the mainland. Steps lead to a clam shell beach and unlimited exploring of marine life along the rural shoreline.
The cottage is set in its own gardens with ample space to unwind. The adjoining property is a private wilderness preserve enhancing the privacy and the ambiance of the cottage.
The separate bedroom has a double bed with down duvet. There is a double sofa bed in the livingroom as well as a wood burning glass panelled stove ( wood is provided). Also in the living room is cable TV , VCR and a CD player/radio. Books are provided as well as games, music and puzzles.
The cottage comes completely stocked : a full kitchen with range and full size refridgerator, all cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker , microwave, toaster and gas BBQ. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar and condiments are provided. All linens and towels are included.
The cottage's living area is expanded with a large covered Verandah overlooking the ocean. ..sit back and watch the shimmering ocean, spectacular sunrises, moon splashed evenings and the ever present comings and goings of yachts and vessels of island life…
Kayak straight off the beach,(bring your kayaks!)... birdwatch, beachcomb... sketch, paint, write or merely reflect and dream.…
