Relax, Enjoy Nature and Create Memories!!!Our retreat is located on a remote shore of the "Inland Sea" in coastal British Columbia only accessible by boat or floatplane. Nestled in a rainforest on the Sunshine Coast north of Vancouver, surrounded by coastal mountains, alpine meadows, streams and lakes and many miles of abandoned logging trails, you will find no other place quite like Tzoonie in the world. Eco-tourism, nature amd absolute serenity so close to Vancouver.
Tzoonie offers lodging in beachfront accommodations located in spectacular "old growth" forest. Each facility offers a gorgeous view of placid Narrows Inlet and the Coastal Mountain Range.
Accommodations include large and smaller cabins, tent cabin and moored houseboat plus full kitchen/dining room facilities, washhouse, flush toilets, sauna and other resort services. When reserving your visit we will work with you to determine what arrangement works best for you.

The 30km boat trip from Sechelt travels through spectacular scenery of mountains and rainforest with a sprinkling of salmon and oyster farms, marine parks and logging operations.You will see many seabirds,eagles and nests,seals,otters and occasionaly orcas and dolphins. Once at our retreat land wildlife can be viewed and photographed on guided tours with our amphibious Argo or hiking if you prefer. You might expect to see bear, mountain goats, elk, deer and perhaps a cougar.
With no roads from urban areas within 20 miles and no other properties nearby, you'll find nothing but peace, serenity and the best that nature can offer that we share with our four legged neighbors.

We offer canoes and kayaks at very reasonable rates to explore protected Narrows Inlet and beyond. Use our place as a base of operations to enjoy the sights and sounds of this amazing stretch of water. Explore reefs and tidepools full of starfish,crabs hundreds of varieties of marinelife. Paddle amongst seals, otters, eagles, herons, and much more. Leave the tent, cooking utensils, worries about firewood and seafood behind and take advantage of our facilities and many years experience.
All guests enjoy comfortable, clean cabins with great mattresses, pillows and sheets. Just bring your sleeping bag and towel.

Situated on the shore, you're only seconds away from the fascinating world of shellfish, starfish and all the little critters that hang out under rocks and vegetation including wild asparagus and mushrooms and wildberries. Pick oysters, clams and mussels at low tide to cook and enjoy over covered firepits. We will even try to get you a feed of fresh dungeness crab.
