Spindrift is a unique protected peninsula where adults find harmony with nature and resident wildlife along secluded forest paths winding down to private white sand beaches. Individualized cottages with fireplaces and sundecks directly overlooking the ocean. Featured in "Northwest’s Best Places".
Our six cottages are situated at the beginning of the Point at the edge of the land looking either into Welbury Bay or Ganges Harbour. We have oceanfront on three sides and the remainder of this scenic peninsula is left in its natural state of arbutus and fir groves with paths winding easily down to private, white sand beaches.
Small cove beaches, lawns and grassy niches along the Point provide quiet seclusion with broad ocean vistas.
Each of our cottages affords clear vantage points for observing marine life in the bay while relaxing in front of a cosy woodburning fire.
Full kitchen and bathroom supplies, linens and bedding are included and there are no staff intrusions to disturb guest privacy.Each cottage is indivdually appointed and features local artandcrafts. All cottages are non-smoking, have seafront sundecks, and propane barbeques.
We strive to preserve the natural environment and marine life and waterfowl around us. Eagles, seals and otters are frequent visitors to our peninsula and a herd of deer and several rabbits live on the Point year round. Small boats are easily launched from our sandy beaches.
Spindrift is a scenic, tranquil sanctuary. Our resident wildlife includes deer, eagles, heron, otter, and other upland and shoreline creatures. Quiet leashed pets on approval.
